Applications of BBa_K1391020

This plasmid can be used for eBFP2 expression and transfection into mammalian cells.

eBFP2 is a blue fluorescent protein. It can be transfected as is as a transfection marker. With the MAV1212 backbone, it can be modified using Golden Gate Assembly to include a miRNA binding site after eBFP2. This allows eBFP2 to be repressed in the presence of targeted miRNA, and the plasmid to serve as a reporter for low concentrations of miRNA.
